defined upgrade path for
your unique diagnostic requirements.
Starting as a grayscale imager it can be upgraded
to PW/CW Doppler and, finally, to Color Flow Mapping.
Upgrades can be accomplished with a simple
switch of 3.5" disk.
Flexible:
The Caris is available
in a choice of configurations, one of which is sure
to suit your clinical needs.
PORTABLE: Its state-of-the-art built-in 10" TFT
LCD monitor lets you take the Caris into any

peripherals.
Complete:
The Caris offers a
wide range of
performance
flexibility to solve any clinical needs,
i.e. cardiac, vascular, obstetrical and gynecological
or abdominal. The system is available with annular
array probes ranging from 2-10 MHz, a family of
pencil probes and multiplane TE probe, as well
as complete calculation packages.
Superb image quality
Engineered with innovative microelectronics, the Caris
offers complete high-quality B-mode imaging and complete color
and spectral Doppler hemodynamic evaluation.
Large cine memory
To ensure that the most representative exam images are captured,
the Caris offers cine memory. Frames stored in
cine memory can be reviewed manually (by track-ball) or
automatically with or without slow motion.
Superb focalization
The Caris system is the fruition of Esaote's recognized expertise
in annular array probe technology. Designed with four real-time
focusing zones, the Caris provides exceptional B-mode imaging.
Dual and Quad screen
The user can display one, two or four images on the Caris TFT
LCD monitor or its auxiliary monitor, and can capture any form
of display on cine memory.
Multistep zoom
The Caris lets the user examine a specific anatomical area in
detail by superimposing the square ROI lens and zooming up
in incremented steps.
Easy-to-use interactive software
Using the trackball and Caris interactive software, the operator
can access and manage all system functions.
