Carl Fischer's Musical Library VIOLIN Method VINTAGE

Item Description

This lot includes two older violin practice books which are in good condition and have complete pages inside, but do show edge/cover use/minor edge tears from storage (see photo).

The first one is American Academic Series No. 29 - The Juvenile Violin Method for Very Little Folks by Edith L. Winn (Carl Fischer, Inc. New York). It's copyright date is MCMVIII (1908). There are no pencil markings that I can find to the best of my ability.  This is for the beginner student.

The second book is Carl Fischer's Music Library No. 143 by F. Wohlfahrt, Opus 74 Fifty Easy Melodic Studies for the Violin Book II.  This book is marked "published 1888 by Carl Fischer, New York. It does have pencil/finger markings by the teacher which could easily be erased. Also as you can see by the cover, it is showing wear (not sure if something was spilled on the cover for the discoloration?). This is for an advanced student (I played these in high school).
