Check out this exquisite porcelain plate featuring the artwork of the famous Swedish artist Carl Larsson. It is titled, “Potato Harvesting” and features women working in the field - a true glimpse of Swedish life in the 19th century, reproduced from Larsson's original 1905 painting of this scene. Plate has a beautiful reticulated lace border and gold leaf rim and detailing. Made in Denmark by Copenhagen Porcelain, Bing & Grondahl, in a limited edition of 7500. Measures 8 5/8" across. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or image loss noted. Includes original box. A real gem!
