Carl Zeiss Contax 85 mm 1.2  50 year Planar AEG The 85 mm 1.2 Planar is a high-performance ultra speed lens made for the Contax RTS 35 mm system .  Made in very limited qualities and is based on government and cinemagraphic optical design research . It is based on a very sophisticated aspherical elements design developed for their legendary motion picture Zeiss prime lenses . This is a very expensive lens that is worth very penny . It is the only lens of this type that maintains sharpness across the entire field at wide apertures . Focuses down to 3 feet 6 inches . The glass and the mechanics are in excellent ++ condition with no fog haze or scratches.  There are a few nicks on the flange and barrel, but otherwise it is in excellent condition. I have seen numerous photos shot with a on a Canon 24 meg digital with an adapter ( Not included ) and on film from this lens and the photos are of outstanding quality and optical correction . Perfect for low light , fashion and illustration photography .
