I
inherited this lens from my uncle, who is a retired professional
photographer. He purchased this lens in
the mid 1960s for use on his Hasselblad 500C camera
body. The lens is fully functional and
has whatever minor flaws you see in the images.
The hood ring (area where a lens hood would mount onto) spins around
freely but has no bearing on the performance and function of the lens. Despite the free-spin, it remains secured to
the lens body. I have been using this
lens on my Pentax K10D and K20D bodies since late
2007 by way of a Fotodiox adapter. 150mm is too extreme of a focal length for my
style of photography, so I have decided to sell this one and retain the 80mm.
