Carl Zeiss Monotube
You are bidding on a Carl Zeiss Monotube. This piece is in great condition and the glass appears to be great. I cannot find any delamination or scratches. No Reserve!
I will ship Canada Post to Canada and the US only.

By bidding on this item you adhere to and are aware of the following:
General:
- I DO NOT claim to be an expert on the items in this auction. This means I may not be privy to the specifics of the item and may not be able to answer detailed questions about the item and may need extra intructions on how to inspect the item to answer such a question. This may also mean I am unable to check specific inner workings or details about an item that you may, upon receiving the item, find to be dissatisfactory. Contact me before bidding if you require additional information.
- When in doubt, ASK. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have about the item within the best of my ability.
- “Good/Great/Excellent/etc” are subjective terms and it is possible that my usage of these words in reference to the item(s) may not match yours.
- If you contact me for any reason pre or post-auction I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible. Please allow a reasonable window of time for a response.
Payment:
- I will only accept Paypal.
- Payment is due in full within 7 days of the close of the auction. If payment is not received I will have to file an "Unpaid Item Dispute" with eBay in order to get my funds associated with fees returned.
Shipping:
- I will ship Canada Post worldwide unless otherwise specified.
- NO local pickups.
- Shipping times vary largely according to the shipping method selected and whether the package must pass customs to reach it's destination. Please see "Delayed and/or Lost Packages" and "Customs" below.
- The shipping cost specified covers shipping costs and packaging costs.
- Handling time can be up to three days, I am not able to visit the post office every day.
Shipping Methods:
- Packages shipped using: any methods other than Expedited and Xpresspost do not have tracking if travelling anywhere other than within Canada. If you want to be secure about where your package is, contact me before paying for the item and request Expedited or Xpresspost shipping. Please be aware that these methods are more expensive than surface or air packages.
- Shipping costs are not refundable.
Insurance:
- Insurance is placed on every package I send. This protects you as the buyer and me as the seller.
Customs:
- Customs brokerage fees can occur when packages pass the country's borders and Customs decides to inspect the package. I am not responsible for this random occurrence.
- Customs can cause delays due to inspection of your package. I am not responsible for this occurence.
Delayed and/or Lost Packages:
- Packages can be delayed for any number of reasons including seasonal delays and customs delays. If your package is delayed more than two weeks beyond the estimated delivery I will look into it for you. Please contact me or see Canada Post's website to find out the estimated delivery time for the shipping method used with your package.
- Remember that the package is insured and if it is lost, I will file a claim for the insurance funds. Filing a claim does take time and I will do my best to get you your money back as fast as possible if/when the claim is accepted.
- International Surface packages can take 4 to 8 weeks to arrive. This method is the cheapest for a reason; it is also the slowest. Please be aware of this if you are outside Canada and the US and are bidding on this item.
- US Small Packets packages have no delivery standards as stated on Canada Post's website. Average delivery times range from 2 weeks to 6 weeks dependent upon the season and other factors, I cannot make any guarantees about when your package will arrive.
Damaged Packages and/or Items:
- If you package appears damaged, remember that it is insured and inspect it's contents carefully. If the shipment of the package caused damage to the items within then take the package back to the post office and tell them you wish to make a claim as it is clearly damaged. I will do everything I can to assist you but once you have received the package insurance claims are no longer in my hands.
- If your package appears to be opened follow the same instructions as above for damaged packages.
- If your item is damaged what-so-ever by shipping, again, follow the instructions as above for damaged packages.
Returns:
- Shipping costs are NOT refundable.
- In the event that a return policy is specified and you want to return an item follow the policy specifically. The item must be returned in order to receive a refund. When I have received the item and have inspected that it is in the same condition as when it was sent to you, then I will return your funds for the item cost only. The cost of shipping back to me is your responsibility. It would also be wise to insure the package since if it is damaged I will not accept it.
- If an item states "AS-IS" this denotes that the sale is FINAL. There are NO RETURNS on items stating this, so be sure to ask all relevant questions about the item to be sure that you know what you are bidding on BEFORE you bid.
- If you feel an item is unsatisfactory or significantly not as described please contact me so that we can discuss a solution.
Feedback:
- Positive feedback is always reciprocated.
- I will leave feedback for you after you have left it for me.
- If several days go by after you have left feedback and I have not done the same do not hesitate to contact me to remind me.
- Before leaving negative feedback: Contact me and I will do everything that I can in order to resolve what ever issues you may have.
- Making statements such as "Do <whatever> for me or I will leave negative feedback" will not result in me doing what you ask, it will result in me contacting Ebay's Trust and Safety and directly quoting your message to them for resolution.
