RARE Carlton Walking Ware "RJS" Teapot with Feet, Yellow Shoes
"Tea for Two" Set Includes 2 Matching Cups, Creamer and Sugar Bowl

Offered here are a fabulous Carlton Walking Ware Lustre Pottery Teapot, two matching cups, and a creamer and sugar bowl, all in the RJS design by Roger Michell, which of course features crossed legs on the teapot and the sugar bowl. They are all wearing a variety of great hand-painted socks and shoes, as you can see from the colorful photos. They are just fantastic looking and will definitely put a smile on your face!

Measurements: The Teapot is approx. 9” tall w/lid in place; width from spout to handle is approx. 7.75”.
                          The Standing Cups each measure approx. 4.25” tall and approx. 4.25” wide, including the handle.
                          The Creamer and Sugar Bowl each measure approx. 4.5” tall.
Markings: All five pieces have the full Carlton Ware Lustre Pottery backstamp to the base:

(copyright symbol) LUSTRE POTTERY 1973 (yellow shoes cup) or 1976 (teapot) or 1980 (brown shoes cup, creamer, and sugar bowl).

Condition: Excellent! No cracks, chips, or restoration. I noticed a blue smear under the glaze on the yellow shoes cup (it is visible in the 4th photo of the pair of cups below, if you look carefully). There is a little of the usual Walking Ware crazing on various pieces; nothing serious. Please see the photos and consider them to be a part of the description.
