SUPER FINE GENUINE 6-LAH NAIN RUG!! This Nain rug is one of many high end pieces that I am currently offering and it is truly a masterpiece. Unlike most Persian rug businesses, all of my Nain rugs feature this super fine 6-Lah quality and I do not offer any low quality pieces.  Authentic Nain rugs are made in the small town of Nain, which is located in central Iran close to the city of Isfahan.  Most Nain rugs that you see in stores and here in eBay are made of a very low quality and typically feature around 100 kpsi. The 6-Lah Nain rugs like the one above are very rare and are totally different from the low quality ones. Unlike the low quality pieces, these 6-Lah ones are extremely fine and typically feature well over 400 kpsi. Most of my clients like to place these rugs in special areas and it is also not uncommon to see them hang on walls. They are among the finest Kurkwool and silk rugs you will find.

About this Rug:
This Nain features a very unique design and is truly a showpiece. Most Nain rugs have a very traditional design with a large medailion and I always try to look for pieces that stand out and are different from the rest. The colors in this piece are traditional, but the design and sheer quality truly make this a very unique piece. With over 500 kpsi (see picture below for proof) it is a very high end Persian rug and the workmanship is accordingly superb. Like all of my rugs, I only offer new and flawless pieces and my clients keep telling me how thrilled they are when they receive their Nain rugs. Please note that this Nain rug is signed, which is very common in 6-Lah Nain rugs. Some sellers make a big deal about the signatures and claim that the rugs are worth more if they are signed, which is absolute nonsense. Fact is that it takes a very skilled weaver to make these rugs and the addition of the signature is mostly done out of tradition. If you look at my other Nain rugs, you will see that they are virtually always signed. Typically, high end Nain rugs in this size are sold in stores for around $5000.00 and you can expect to pay much more for a fine piece like this one.
