**Carvin LB76 w/ OHSC**
You are bidding on a 1992 Carvin LB76. Bass is in great condition and plays beautifully. It has some of the lowest action I've ever seen and the strings never slip tuning! This thing also balances incredibly well. It does have a couple of cosmetic issues (none of which affect playability in the least) that I will address them toward the bottom. The only reason I am getting rid of it is to make my next college tuition payment. Specs: Neck Construction: Neck-thru Neck Wood: Maple Fretboard: Ebony Fretboard Markers: Abalone Block Scale: 34" Pickups: two Carvin H50N Preamp: Carvin 2-Band Finish: Clear Maple Hardware Color: Black Bridge: Wilkinson Tuners: Locking Sperzel I am not the original owner, but this information has all been verified by Carvin support according to the serial number. There is a rather large scratch in the front (about the length of a quarter), but it is usually covered up by your arm when playing. Does not affect playability. The pickups are very quiet which is common for the H50N pickups. On the neck pickup, there are some string marks on the B- and C-strings. They aren't noticable from more than a couple inches back and are covered by the strings. Also, a couple of the set screws on the bridge have been replaced with some longer ones that stick up a bit. Again, does not affect playability. Nonetheless, I'm a fan of full disclosure. Lastly the case. Inside, it is perfectly fine and grips the bass very well. On the outside of the case, there is scratching, what appears to be a shoeprint (that I cannot clean off...paint maybe?) and the plastic has warped a bit. It doesn't risk the integrity of the case at all (in fact, the warped-plastic actually adds a bit more cushion to protect the bass inside of it). It is the original hardshell case that came with the bass. If you have any questions or would like additional pictures, I will do my best to answer them and respond ASAP for you. I accept PayPal Only and I will ship the 1992 Carvin LB76 w/ Original Hardshell Case via FedEx Ground to U.S.A. ONLY. Also, if shipping ends up costing less than my quote, I will refund the difference to you. _________________________________________________ |
