Cast Bronze Bronze Bamboo Vase I Sculpture Fine Art

 Bronze bamboo flower vase is a lost wax casting custom commissioned by Modern Art Foundry.  It is 12 ½ inches tall, 4 ¾ inches wide with a natural bronze patina with golden highlights.  Small holes in the top of each stalk allows for display of real (for a brief period of time) or artificial flowers, though not intended to hold water. It is a unique edition number 1/1. It weighs 11 pounds, and has the foundry edition markings. Ready to ship.

So much of our everyday activities bring us in contact with various containers, cups, bottles, etc... They present themselves to us in many shapes and sizes we are often only interested in what is inside: water, coffee, food...However the vessel that presents itself to us holds its own value.  Jeffrey Spring explores these shapes and forms, both man made and formed by nature.  Working with the artisans at Modern Art Foundry they create works of art experiencing the instinctual and visceral sensation regarding how we feel about our surroundings…
