Cast Iron Organ Circus Monkey Mechanical Bank 1881 Toy

Tonight I am listing 6 old mechanical banks from a collection of banks we have been gettting for the last 4 months.We will continue to list them until the collection is empty.This is an early Organ mechanical bank.It has what looks like a circus monkey sitting on a stool holding a hat and tray.You are supposed to place a coin on the tray , turn the handle on the side and the monkey will drop it into the bank and tip his hat at the same time.The front of the bank is embossed ORGAN BANK.On the back is cast PAT. MAY 31 1881.There is a small coin door on the bottom to remove the coins and it comes with the original key .When you crank on the handle , there is a bell inside that will ring until you stop cranking.The bank is in nice working condition and I do not see any cracks or damage to the piece.We will also be listing a larger version of this so please look at all the other banks we have listed tonight.
