Unique Catholic Medal of Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Bernadette This medal is quite large and heavy. It is 1 1/2" tall and weighs 17.0 grams. It has a beautiful and colorful stained glass effect image of Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Bernadette. The coloring is a type of enamel or epoxy. The back of the medal is plain except for a "made in Italy" sticker. I do not know how old this is, or if it might be vintage. The metal is silver finish with a gold finish trim on the front. It has a loop at the top for attaching to a chain, charm bracelet or favorite rosary. It shows some wear, but is basically in good condition. The gold trim is a bit worn.
