Most significantly, it represents the Goddess of these matriarchal people in Her forms of Maiden, Mother, and Old Wise Woman.

The continuous line of the triscele interlaces within itself representing the thread of life woven by the three fates in an eternal spiral, symbolizing the eternal path of one's spirit through the course of life, death, and rebirth.

Meditation induced by following the intricate pattern of the celtic triscele will help one transcend mundane existence and join the cosmic dance.
