These seeds are fresh from my garden. 

A very unusual Mediterranean native is sure to be a conversation piece in any garden  with it's irridescent purple/blue tubular flowers, supported by fleshy blue-green bracts. The fleshy evergreen blue-green foliage is so stunning that it appears as if the whole plant is a flower and gives a stunning show. A useful and versatile  plant, suitable for the border, containers and cut flower arrangements. Flowers all summer. Height: 12-18 inches. Hardy in zones 5-9.

The seeds are freshly harvested from blooming plants. They will continue to bloom all summer. In addition, the seeds that have dropped will sprout, grow and bloom again the same year. The plant continues this cycle all summer long for almost continuous bloom.

Germination is almost 100%

I will send 30 seeds.

Planting Instructions: Plant Seeds 1/2" deep and water. Tolerant of most kinds of soil. If soil is claylike, then add compost. The plant is best suited to full sun, but will grow in part shade as well. You can even plant them in flower baskets. Self sows readily from seeds on current growth.

Shipping: Buyer pays shipping. I will gladly combine shipping on 2 or more items. I charge $2.00 for the first bag of seeds and then .50 for each bag of seeds thereafter up to a maximum shipping amount of $7.50 for anything under 50 bags of seeds.

I use only padded bubble mailers and send them as a parcel. This means in addition to the cost of the padded mailer (.49 each) and small baggies (.10 each), labels, ink etc, I also pay the surcharge for non-machinable parcel ($1.31 for a 1 ounce parcel, plus .48 cents for each additional ounce) and delivery confirmation fee(.19cents). 

Checkout: I use checkout only. I do not send after auction e-mails. It is the buyers responsiblity to complete the checkout form within 3 days of the auction's end.
