The PS-152 is a fullrange 3-Way system with dual 15” woofers, the PS-152 is designed for “stand alone” use without the need for biamping with a subwoofer.

The benefits of dual 15” woofers include:

Greater power handling Increased bass response Excellent value as a “stand alone” system.
 
The PS-152 utilizes a newly designed 15”  ProStax woofer featuring a larger magnet, better heat sink characteristics, and tighter tolerances, While still utilizing a 3" voice coil & diecast aluminum frame, the sensitivity of the woofer has been increased by 3 dB.  With 2 woofers, the acoustic mutual coupling effect results in another 3 dB increase in bass response for an overall increase of 6 dB over the original PS-15 !!!

Being a true fullrange cabinet, the PS-152 eliminates the need for biamping. This feature, along with increased efficiency results in cost saving because for a given application, less cabinets and amplifiers are needed.

The M-130 midrange compression driver has a 2" voice coil & phenolic diaphragm coupled to a 2” throat with 3 : 1 compression ratio.

The 1” throat compression loaded horn tweeter is new for the ProStax series & is coupled to a constant directivity horn. The tweeter has a 2 lb magnet structure for excellent transient response at high power levels.

The cabinet is true to the ProStax line with trapezoidal shape & the curved front features a perforated steel protective grille.
