Chakras:
The word chakra, from the Sanskrit cakram, meaning wheel or disk or circle, signifies one of seven basic energy centers in the human body. The Chakras have been used in Eastern Medicine for thousands of years. They are spiritual energy centres which control the distribution of life force energy around the body. In holistic medicine it is acknowledged that a chakra which is not balanced creates disease or disharmony in the physical body which causes illness.
 
The chakras are part of out spirtual body or aura, and can actually be seen on special aura cameras which interpret each energy centre as a particular colour. The Chakras each resonate to an energy frequency, as do crystals, each chakra has its corresponding crystal. There are a total seven major energetic centres within the human body.
