recieved the radio today, THANKS. But it didnt work, 2 tubes were
knocked out. The box was smashed on the corner. I believe the radio
worked when you shipped it. It is a very nice radio. I will gladly
leave you pos. feedback. But the USPS did a bad job of delivering the
radio, they damaged it. I should have taken your advice and got
insurance. Thanks [name removed]
Geez,
[name removed], we're so sorry to hear that! There was a point when we
REQUIRED insurance on all our sold items, and enough buyers objected
that we changed and made it optional though recommended. Most of our
shipments (including incoming when we buy) have no problems at all.
Truly the radio worked fine when it left here, with all tubes in place.
We TRIPLE wrapped it in bubble wrap AND then packed it in a lot of
styrofoam peanuts. Calling it a 'bad job' on the part of the USPS is an
understatement. If you feel okay about it, we'd like to use your email
(without your name, of course) in that part of all our listings where
we recommend insurance. We feel terrible! Sorry (though we're grateful
that you do realize that it wasn't anything that we did wrong.) Thanks
