Charles Laughton as Quasimodo the Hunchback of Notre Dame
Full scale model resin kit

Charles Laughton (1899 - 1962 ) Laughton recieved his training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic arts in London. His first American film was The Old Dark House 1932. My favorite is The Hunchback of the Notre Dame (1939). This Resin Model kit started with an actual life mask cast of Charle Laughton. The historic cast has then been sculpturaly enhanced by me Erick Erickson. I faithfully recreated the complex makeup effects see in The Hunchback. The Head is set forward and cocked, He penetrates you with the stare from his one good eye. This model makes an amazing display.
Laughton's portraial of Quasimodo is the best his range of moods as the charachter are perpetualy believable.


This one piece is a full scale ready to be painted kit. Its construction is layered up off white resin creating an amazingly detailed skin. This shell has then been filled with rigid expandable Urethane foam to produce a filled solid that is very durable. The cast goes behind his ears and has a flat back. All of the original detail of the
historic cast has been preserved.
So the work of art you get has
a direct link to Laughton.
It's like having Quasimodo right there
with you.

to further infuse the spirit of
Laughton as the Hunchback.
