I am offering a wonderful vintage pair of Aviation bookends titled "Viking Spirit", which is attributed, in part, to Charles Lindbergh "Lindy" and his Spirit of St. Louis, circa 1928.  This bookend pair is similar, if not identical, to the bookends designated as rare and pictured in KURITZKY and DECOSTA'S COLLECTOR'S ENCYCLOPEDIA of BOOKENDS. This handsome and striking pair of bookends is perfect for any aviation enthusiast.  

The Viking Spirit bookends are approx. 5.5" tall .  Nice weight, weighing just under 5 pounds.  Great rich and warm patina. Original patina with golden, and bronze hued finish over iron .  Age and use appropriate surface wear. Very presentable.  Real charmers.  These are from my personal collection.   Please view pictures.  Pictures are part of the description.  For better picture viewing, supersize and then maximize picture.
