PERFORMANCE is a range of masts specifically designed to suit the needs of racing or cruising / racing riggings. This auction is for a new Performance mast delivered to our yard with a new Farr designed Beneteau First 36.7. This mast was slightly dimpled in handling (see photos) and subsequently replaced with another brand new mast. The spreaders, standing rigging and other items listed under condition are not included in this auction because they were moved to or initally installed on the replacement mast.
About CS Performance masts...
The profile and functions of this mast and parts have been optimized in the CS design. The Performance range takes into account all the specifications of racing type rigging: weight, strain, performance and aerodynamics.
Charleston Spars utilized only the most recent techniques in aluminum fabrication for this spar. Among the other boat manufacturers utilizing this fine spar are Catalina, C&C, JBoat, Oceanis, Tartan, and several multihulls.
