Just like the famous Polish posters, vintage Turkish edition movie posters from 1960's through the 90's contain very unique artwork and they're highly collectible. They mostly have real different designs than the common US & European editions. While some of them were close to the regular versions combining the original material with creative unique illustrations, some were made of completely different designs. Those were totally the results of Turkish illustrators' imagination. The most important graphic artists of those times were Aslan Sukur (who was also known with making hundreds of Turkish edition fumetti comic covers), Sahin Karakoc (who was the master of female form illustrations, also worked in Turkish edition Playmen Magazine) and Omer Muz. All the Turkish release posters are printed in very limited quantities.

All posters are ORIGINALS (NO Reproductions unless noted) and they were printed at the time when the movies were showed in Turkey. Some were even used in the theatres.

Up for sale is rare movie poster of the classic airplane adventure SKYJACKED a.k.a. SKY TERROR (Turkish Title: HAVA KORSANI) from 1972. Starring CHARLTON HESTON, YVETTE MIMIEUX & JAMES BROLIN. Directed by JOHN GUILLERMIN.

POSTER SPESIFICS: Standard 1 Sheet (Approx. 68 x 100 cm / 27" x 40") in size. In excellent condition with light fold lines. Great piece, very hard to find especially in this condition!
