Charles Bukowski "the day the epileptic spoke" 2-page Poem Signed and Dated by Bukowski I'm offering a very rare 2-page, typed (on typewriter; dated 1982, before Bukowski got a computer) on 8 1/2 x 11 typing bond poem entitled "the day the epileptic spoke." It's about an epileptic at the Los Alamitos Race Track in L.A. who Buk feels could have been a messenger from God with a long-shot horse tip for him. This poem has been typed by Bukowski and signed and dated by him on the second page. The poem contains editing and correcting done in black ink. I am supposing this was done by Bukowski since he used black ink to sign and date it. The poem is dated 8-11-82. It's 27 years old now. The poem has staple holes on upper left-hand corner and has been folded in the middle. The pages have been handled and may even have Bukowski's fingerprints on it somewhere. This was a poem Bukowski submitted for publication. I guarantee this item is authentic. It comes with a Letter of Provenance from the person I bought it from and I'll sign that Letter over to the winning bidder. Starting price is $225.00. Shipping and handling will be free; will include insurance and delivery confirmation. Outside USA, you must pay USPS International Postage--message me for USPS International Postage rates to your country. |
