Special gloves are made of nitrile, a chemical-resistant and allergy-free material. These gloves are 15 mils thick to protect against heavy duty chemicals (such as lye when making soap) and are puncture-resistant. Tread imprint on palm and fingers offers non-slip protection. Longer glove cuff protects forearm. Lined with cotton flocking for added comfort. Accepted by the FDA and USDA. Reusable: 1 pair should last through dozens of uses. Size medium is 9 inches in diameter from front of palm around back of hand. Size Medium is 13 inches in length from fingertip to end of cuff.

About glove thickness: 1 mil = 1 thou = one thousandth = ¹/₁₀₀₀ = 0.001 = 0.1% = 1‰ = 10^-3 of an inch.
