With elastic gathered neck and elastic gathered biceps) longer short sleeves) this lovely chemise can be a staple of your medieval wardrobe. This gown's cotton is oh so soft against the skin under those overdresses, houpellandes, and surcotes. One can always use another chemise for those medieval gatherings, medieval weddings, SCA events, or Renaissance Faires. This chemise can easily be worn on or off shoulder and is perfect for tavern wench outfits as well.
This NEVER WORN blouse is in new condition with no defects and is machine washable. My costumes feature finished edges to prevent fraying, making them very durable and long-lived. My creations use only professional techniques, using patterns made hundreds of times that I'm well familiar with. You will not see CC offer the same listing repeatedly nor display pictures of model items; you will receive the exact item pictured/described. CC sells TAILORED costumes with undergowns as one size fits all.
Both historical and fantasy costumes are available; historical items are researched and marked "AUTHENTIC" and are as accurate as reasonable in modern times. I love what I do so I create original costumes with quality fabric and trim. I offer lower prices for higher-quality items, from 30% to 80% less than costume shops or internet costume sellers. I do not list defective or damaged items but occasionally sell my personal pre-owned items. Should a servicable item have a minor flaw I describe it in detail within the listing. Common Sense and Common Courtesy:
I appreciate my customers and recognize the VAST majority are honest and courteous. Since I create & sell items involving larger fees and materials costs/time, I must protect myself from a small minority of unethical buyers. Due to ebay's ongoing mutation, new CC policies are now in effect as follows:
SIZE- CC will provide the bust, waist, hips, and shoulder to hemline length of all items listed and items with sleeves will include bicep measurements. BUYER is solely responsible for reading listing and knowing measurements needed. CC uses 2 solid non-adjustable mannequins- small and large, for photos. Sizes have been validated and affidavit of witnesses notarized. The mannequins measure as follows: small - b34 w28 h36 and large b40 - w32- b42, all measurements in inches. Some larger costume items may be binder-clipped in back to fit better on mannequins in picture but NO items will ever be smaller than non-adjustable mannequin in picture, to eliminate size questions.
REFUNDS / RETURNS / EXCHANGES- NO cash refunds, discounts, add-on items without charge, or free shipping will be provided under any circumstances. Requests will receive no response. Legitimate errors in listings, very rare, will be validated. Returns for exchange only must be agreed to in email prior to return. Date of return must be no later than 7 days in possession of buyer, validated by postmark, late returns will be be denied delivery.
COMMUNICATION- I willingly work with courteous customers who make a mistake in choice, color, size, or other issues. I want my customers satisfied - always have, this will not change. Blaringly rude, demanding, or insulting communication will not be replied to. Unethical requests will be reported. Feedback extortion has never been tolerated by CC and ebay's mutation will not change this - threats will not be responded to. CC does not charge prices to compensate for extensive time with a small minority of dishonest customers & will not penalize honest customers by raising prices. I value my mental state so will not participate in confrontation. Custom gowns will be created and extensive alterations will be happily performed for buyers with proven track records. Quality costumers with low prices are rare birds, so think before you shoot at them.
My feedback speaks for itself, including the negatives, and I take responsibility for my errors and expect buyers to do the same. Please refer to the extensive number of buyers that return to me repeatedly season after season. With the installation of software to assist in monitoring buyers' track records, CC will take action to protect its glowing reputation and its sales. Member blocks are permanent, a blocked i.d. will not be removed from list, requests for same will not be responded to. The block list and other protections will be utilized more often but never without a great deal of rational thought and tolerance as everybody has a bad day once in awhile.
