This store listing is for:  1 chokecherry burl  cap with  natural bark edge and inclusions. Sweet  cherry burl  cap,  quite stunning and unique in this large size and grade.

DESCRIPTION:

chokecherry is so much brighter in color and more dramatic in contrasts than similar black cherry this stuff is simply amazing.   colors include tans, whites, oranges, reds and roses, with intermittent black, swirly streaking.

this is a choice blank .  this square is the one you will receive. it  has lots of eyes and rays with outstanding sap contrast. this is a sweet blank.   
 

 Burls always have bark inclusions and voids that are not considered defects. they increase the character and allure of the work when finished. always consider this when buying burl... great for boxes or veneers or other turnings\\
