Made by the Federal Glass Company, Columbus, Ohio, circa 1900 and part of the Wabash series is an individual round plate, once part of a complete children’s toy pressed glass ABC ICE CREAM set.
The center of this fun plate shows a large scoop of ice cream in a leaf-motif decorated dish with a spoon. Above the dish are the words, ICE CREAM, pressed in an icicle-like type font. The border is embellished with the entire alphabet. This busy detailed pattern covers almost the entire plate.
This little plate is only 2 ¾” wide and is in great condition with no cracks or chips.
