Ahhhh, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery .

When Royal Doulton brought out their massive range of character jugs , every other china company jumped in on the popularity bandwagon .

This china head is of King Henry 8th VIII . All hand painted .

The pitcher is 7" tall .

A ceramic piece with no maker's mark underneath . it would appear that the base has been flocked ( to prevent scratches ) and that covers any marks that were there .

A couple of tiny chips underneath and in dusty condition . has been stored on a top shelf for many years .
