A custom made traditional Long Chinese Cheongsam Silk Brocade Plum Blossoms Black with Red Dress. A touch of traditional Far Eastern beauty is added to any wardrobe with this long ankle length classic Mandarin dress. Cheongsam is the traditional dress worn by Chinese women, typified with a high collar, and button or frog closures near the shoulder. This fitted dress is made using silk brocade with graceful plum blossom patterns, so it is very soft and comfortable. In Chinese culture, plum blossom is the symbol of noble mind and it is the favorite subject of Chinese artists.

The Chinese hand-made butterfly frog buttons go well with plum blossom patterns. Frog button is a kind of traditional handicraft and require a lot of labor. Complete with a Mandarin collar and short sleeves, both sides are made with slits toward the thigh and the length of dress long to your ankles. An invisible zipper is on the right side, so it is easy for you to wear.

Silk Brocade weaving is an age old tradition here in Asia. It adds a pattern within the silk using metallic threads especially gold and silver. Silk is fine, smooth, durable and strong, so it facilitates the weaves. These qualities make silk the material of choice for brocade weaving.

This sexy silk dress is done in black w/red; it is available in sizes from a size Medium (34) to XXXL (42). Please note many customers tell us, that these dresses run smaller than US sizes. Here are the measurements for each size. It is recommended that you order up one size. All measurements are taken around the outside of the garment.

Medium (M)(34): 34" around the largest measurement of the breast, 28" measured around the waist, 36" measured around the hips, and a overall length of 50" from collar to helm with 21" slits on both sides.

Large (L)(36): 36" around the largest measurement of the breast, 28" measured around the waist, 38" measured around the hips, and a overall length of 52" from collar to helm with 22" slits on both sides.

Extra Large (XL)(38): 38” around the largest measurement of the breast, 32" measured around the waist, 40" measured around the hips, and a overall length of 54" from collar to helm with 23" slits on both sides.

Extra Extra Large (XXL)(40): 40" around the largest measurement of the breast, 34" measured around the waist, 42" measured around the hips, and a overall length of 56" from collar to helm with 24" slits on both sides.

Extra Extra Extra Large (XXXL)(42): 42" around the largest measurement of the breast, 36" measured around the waist, 44" measured around the hips, and a overall length of 58" from collar to helm with 24" slits on both sides.
