Chinese Shiwan Mudman Artist Writer Mud Man Men

From an estate.  This is Mudman is approximately 4 1/2" tall.  The label is still on the figure and says Shiwan Artistic Ceramic Factory.   Found information that says the Shiwan Artistic Ceramic Factory started in the 1950's.  The estate this piece came from had a large oriental collection that was quite old and included many silk scrolls from pre 1900's through 1950's.  This Mudman appears to be writing or drawing.  Found no breaks, chips or crazing.  Even the very thin pencil is intact.  Good rich colors.  The bottom has the word CHINA stamped into the clay.  Any small dots are in the original glaze.  This will be a great addition to your collection.
