Chinese Rosewood and Brass Dragon Head Lantern Smoking Table

Classic 1900 Imported Chinese Carved Dragon-Head Smoking Table with Round Brass Tray, Brass Lantern with Original Green Glass panes mounted on  Carved Rosewood legs and Arm. 

Size:  approx. 5' Tall with an approx. 20" diameter Brass Table.  Condition:  Fair, after years of use in a residential Zen Center Near Berkeley California unfortunately some of the Dragon's ears have gone missing as has one of their tongues, their Whiskers are bent or missing as well (see photos)  The Brass tray is in very good condition, with beautiful Engravings of typical Chinese Life, there are no dings or dents in the tray, the Lantern has three panes of original green glass not sure if there were four to start with because the door doesn't seem to need one ( a candle can be placed inside).  The Rosewood legs and arms are all carved with dragon images and Chinese Characters with Wish all Long Life, Happiness and Prosperity.  Included are some of the original Cast Iron ashtrays and a Cloisonné Brass Ashtray.  The assembly is simple the brass tray has rings which fit into the Dragon Heads just over their tongues and the table will fold for easy shipping.  I have used this to burn incense and smudge sticks for a many years and there is a pleasant scent surrounding the table.  Enjoy it as I have,  Live Long and Prosper!
