Choas Wrap 7 ft 15-30lb Saltwarter Spinner by BaR-BaR

This is not a Chaos Rod.

This is a Rainshadow 15-30 lb 7 foot spinning rod built by BaR-BaR Tackle. 

 I build this rod with a wrap that is very similar to the wraps done by Chaos rods. It is a very good match to Chaos rod collection you may now have.  It is just a very similar wrap. If you were one of the many anglers that had several of the Chaos rods in your rod collection this is just a reminder you can still add to your rod collection with rods that will be an acceptable match to the existing rods you may have. We believe the quality of these rods will be at least the same or higher then your existing rods, and the price will be competitive to the rods Chaos built.

We can use this wrap on about any style or poundage of rod you may need, from spinning .. to spiral warped casting ..to casting  ... to jigging ..    to live bait .. to stand up ..to trolling .. to deep drop.. we also can build gaffs and harpoons using this wrap ..

At BaR-BaR Tackle we use a few different components then Chaos did .. we make an effort to be as angler friendly as we can. We have a lot of our componts manufactured to our specifications. Of course we can use components of your choice if you like.

We built this rod with ribbed EVA foam rear grip we had manufactured to our specifications.  It is a little smaller in diameter then most grips .. about 1 inch .. i find the smaller grips easier to hold for long periods of time. 

It has a rubber mushroom style butt cap / gimbal .. it is a butt cap that is slotted so you can use it in your fighting belt if you need too. 

This is a Rainshadow RCLB rod blank. It is manufactured by Batson Enterprise. We find this blank to be a very good alternative to the more expensive Calstar Grafighter blank. It has a lot of the same characteristics of the Calstar, but at a much lower psrice. However, We can also build this rod using the Calstar Grafighter or the new Seeker Hercules blanks ... please write for pricing.   

 This blank is a graphite/e-glass blend, it is graphite from the butt 2/3s of the way to the tip then it turns to e-glass for the last 1/3 of the blank. This gives you a lighter more sensitive rod with a very durable and forgiving tip. The best of both the e-glass and graphite worlds.  

The rod has a Fuji heavy duty graphite reel seat, this is the same reel seat used on a lot of boat rods .. it is very tough and durable and i find it to be a very easy reel seat to hold. 

The fore grip is our exclusive triangular shaped 10 inch grip.  We designed this grip for our stand up rods, but,  it has been such a big hit on our bigger tuna spinner,  we have gone to it as a standard on all of our spinning rods. The triangular grip will allow for ease of holding for long periods of time and the shape also helps in controlling the rod from twisting and turning when you are hooked up to a fish or just carrying the rods to the boat. We can of course build this rod with the traditional round fore grips .. but i'd seriously suggest you try the triangular grip.  

   The 8 guides and tip are also manufactured for us by Batson, the frames are manufactured with 316 stainless steel 2 x black chrome plated for exceptional corrosion resistance. The inserts are Zirconium, plated with Titanium, this is how you  get the gold color,  The Zirconium inserts are extremely hard, smooth and dissipates heat well. Perfect for braided or mono line, they  also look good.  

Each guide is under wrapped with a gold thread to insure no guide to blank contact. The they are attached with 3 layers of C size thread for maximum strength.  The guides are black with gold inserts 

The  rod is wrapped in black and gold .. much like the wraps the rods from Chaos .. but we believe this to be a better looking version of there rod.

These  rods are durable, beautiful and functional and can be use in a variety of ways for a variety of big game species.
