This is a medium, non-slip martingale collar, ideal for Whippets and other breeds that need a gentle but secure training collar. It is designed to tighten when your dog pulls on the lead, preventing her from escaping the collar. The extra width and padding, in conjunction with a control loop, humanely prevent the collar from pinching or choking your pet. When she stops pulling, the collar will expand back to the original circumference that you set with the slide-lock. Please Note: This collar is intended for walking dogs on lead only. Those of our collars which have a beaded fringe are fragile and can pose a choking hazard: Use only under supervision.

Collar Details: This medium martingale collar is
2 inches (5.5 cm) wide in the front with soft, fleece padding inside. Tapering to 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the back, it has a 1 inch control loop of blue polypropylene webbing with a slide-lock to keep the collar snug. This attractive design provides extra width and support in the front without adding unnecessary bulk in the back. It expands to about 15 inches (38 cm) to slip over your dog's head, and will contract to about 9 inches (23 cm), making it suitable for sighthounds with a neck size of 10 to 14 ". To use, just slip the collar over your dog's head, then adjust the slide lock down the control loop until the collar is comfortably snug. The control loop offers a D-ring for lead attachment.
