For sale is a unique set of Christmas Island FDCs. There are 12 covers each with a stamp and postmark representing one of the twelve days of christmas.
Page 1. Four covers each with a single stamp cancelled on the first 4 days of Christmas.
Page 2. Four covers each with a single stamp cancelled on the second 4 days of Christmas.
Page 3. Four covers each with a single stamp cancelled on the last 4 days of Christmas.
Page 4. Photo copy of an article from the November 1977 Stamp Monthly featuring the issue and the artist who designed the set. The original photocopy is included with the set of stamps.
These covers are all in excellent condition. No Christmas Island FDC collection is complete without this remarkable set that cost heaps at the time.
