MT3/JT33 Arbor (Morse Taper Number 3). 1/2" Chuck with JT33 (Jacobs number 33 taper) which is much better for reverse applications like tapping than the cheaper screw-on type which can unscrew as you back the tap out. Complete with chuck key. Capacity: 1/32'' to 1/2'' or 1.5mm to 13mm . Assembles in seconds without tools. This arbor has a 12mm 1.75 female thread on the top for use with or without a draw bar. There is no tang on this arbor which is the flat part found at the top of some arbors and is only used to help with removal from the drill press. A removable tang could easily be made from a 12mm x 1.75mm bolt or threaded rod (Not included). Having no Tang makes it Ideal for MT3 lathe tail stocks. This chuck is new in the box.
