CINCINNATI MODEL 19R (LR) HYDRASHIFT TOOLROOM LATHE

Serial Number: 55024R-74-10                Year Model is 1974

Some Information: (LOOK at THE PICS)

  • 19" Swing and 72" centers
  • This model has RISERS on headstock, compound and tailstock
  • Actual Swing over Bedways is > 26" !!!
  • Spindle is L-taper mount
  • There is a 12" 3-jaw chuck and a 16" 4-jaw chuck (See Pic)
  • 12 spindle speeds from 25 to 980 RPM
  • 48 threads from 1.5 to 92 threads per inch (no metric)
  • 48 feeds from .0019 to .1215 inches per revolution
  • There is a small steady rest with the machine (See Pic)
  • The tailstock looks like a #4 Morse Taper (See Pic)
  • Chip pan under bedways, coolant pump present (See Pics)
  • 1.75" spindle hole
  • 5 HP spindle motor, dual voltage, Probably set up for 440 volt operation (See Pic)
  • Electrical Cabinent looks clean (see pic)

MOST IMPORTANT NOTE:

This LATHE is SURPLUS.  It has been in storage for years.  No one knows if it runs.  I have never seen it run.  Due to a lack of resources, we DON'T plan to try to run it.  This is why the starting bid is VERY LOW.  It LOOKS complete, but we DO NOT KNOW THE CONDITION OF THIS LATHE.  YOU will probably have to work on this machine to make it run properly.  Sold "as-is" only and there are NO REFUNDS.

Shipping:

This unit will take up about 10' of bed space on your trailer.  Please send your own truck or trailer OR make your own shipping arrangements.  This unit is about 10' long and 5' wide.  Estimated weight is 6,000 lbs.  I CAN NOT load into a box van, only open trailer or flatbed truck.  Bring some tarps !!!
