Civil War Ball Gown

You are viewing an exquisite handmade 1860's Civil War Reproduction Ball Gown. I make all my gowns out of period correct fabrics and styles.

This beauty is made out of  white Organza embroidered allover in golden and carmel rose buds with green leafs and vines.  The gown is trimmed in carmel colored watermarked taffeta.

The slightly off shoulder styled bodice is made out of gorgeous white embroidered organza. The bodice has been interfaced and lined to keep its shape throughout your next event.  The  double layered bertha is made out of 14 yards of matching scalloped embroidered organza that has been hand pleated to the neckline. The neckline is trimmed with carmel watermarked taffeta and 1/2" white satin scroll braid. There is a carmel watermarked taffeta bow attached to the neckline at each shoulder. The pouf style sleeves are also made out of matching white embroidered organza that has been hand pleated and trimmed with carmel watermarked taffeta and 1/2" white satin scroll braid. The bodice has a authentic hook and eye closer in the back.

The skirt is made out of matching white organza that is embroidered allover with golden and carmel rosebuds and green leafs and vines. The skirt has been lined with white taffeta and hand pleated to the waistband.  The sash is made out of matching carmel watermarked taffeta that ties in the back in a big beautiful bow. This wonderful gown has a hugh 388" sweep that is scalloped and embroidered. The skirt has a authentic hook and eye closer in the back.  The gown is shown over a 6-bone hoop skirt and petticoat that are not included.

Bust: 39"

Waist:32"

Length: 45"

Please take your measurements at the fullest point of your bust and natural waistline over corset and for the length from waist to floor over hoop skirt and petticoat.
