Up for auction are two Civil War Related Books 1) 1960 "Two Flags Flying" published by the Platt & Munk Company, New York. Name written on inside cover, no other writing, large print; cloth cover has a small area of discoloration, otherwise in great shape, no tears, pages in excellent condition. This is an account of the American Civil War through an array of episodic biographies of 50 important figures of the Civil War - 25 from the North and 25 from the South (216 pages). 2) "Following Lincoln" 1809-1865 by Bernhardt Wall and published by the Wise Parslow Co. Book is cloth covered, 416 pages with over 300 illustrations and wonderful sketches. This book covers Lincoln's ancestry and his life from boyhood until his death - GREAT book, well written and very well illustrated. Pages are all in tact; cloth cover is ripped at the binding front cover bottom but not detached - some minor tears and scuffs, some discoloration of pages due to age here and there but overall pages are in good shape.
