The Civil War was a turning point in American history. A difference in opinion towards the future direction of this great land escalated into a full blown war that resulted in a catastrophic loss of life. To this day, the Civil War remains America's bloodiest war, with some 620,000 - 700,000+ Americans losing their lives.
In honor of this historical event, we have prepared for you several collections of civil war bullet sets and other artifacts. There were well over 500 different types of ammunition used during this bloody conflict. Within these collectors sets you will find many bullet types. Some of these bullets have been identified and all are guaranteed to be 100% genuine. You may also find other artifacts in these sets, such as buckels, pins, buttons, and round lead discs that were used for everything from ID tags to poker chips.
In this set you will find a nicely arranged set of musketballs and bullets that were dug up from battle sites . 15 in all. This sets come in a fancy display case that is 12 1/4" x 16 1/4" x 3/4".
These make for very nice collectors items and we know that you will proudly own these!
We recommend that you pick up a copy of Civil War Projectiles II: Small Arms and Field Artillery by W. Reid McKee and M.E. Mason, Jr. if you are interested in learning more about Civil War bullets and artifacts!
