This like-new Civil War re-enactment outfit was purchased a few years ago but worn only twice.
Charcoal gray, lightweight almost polished cotton material accented with black lace. Dress, vest and hat were hand sewn by a local woman that creates clothing true to the times, i.e., hand-sewn buttonholes.
Blouse, gloves and shoes are NOT true to era and where purchased to complete the outfit. Blouse has white embroidery on button placket. Black gloves have three tiny black buttons down back of hand and extra buttons are included. Lace-up boots with leather upper purchased at Wal-Mart, size 8W.
Hoop skirt, 5 hoops, is included with outfit.
Blouse is size 18; dress and vest would fit size 16-20. Skirt waist is 19-1/2" flat and is 40" long with 1.75" hem (hoop takes up a lot of length, as I am 5'4" and the skirt was just the right length). Vest is 20" armpit to armpit when flat. Hoop skirt has drawstring waist to fit all sizes.
Hat is really neat, with feather in excellent condition. Black lace trim around face and in back of hat to shield neck. Probable non-era snood included in auction.
More photos available upon request. This outfit is really like new, nonsmoking home, nothing ever washed but blouse. Not into re-enacting any more, so would like to see someone else enjoy this outfit.
Shipping will be actual cost, USPS Priority Mail - not sure what cost would be, but shouldn't be more than listed cost.
