This is a 34 inch x 27 inch (approximately) framed print depicting the Battle of Spottsylvania at Laurel Hill and NY River, which took place on May 8, 10, & 28th, 1864. This print was done by Kurz & Allison Art Publisher, 76 & 78 Wabash Ave, Chicago. The copyright date is 1888. This was the engagement of the Army O.T. Potomac, 2', 5', 6' & 9' Corps. There is some damage on the upper corner, see picture. It is ready to hang. A great print with a lot of action detailed in it. I don't know how old it is. I recently had it checked and it is a reprint. The back of the framed print has been replace with new craft paper backing. This does not show in the picture. All Sales Final. Buyer pays postage.
