                                                               Handmade Irish Claddagh Pendant

This Claddagh pendant is made from sterling silver and is stamped .925. It was individually handcrafted by a silversmith in Ireland. Set at the center is a faceted brilliant white Crystal. Information on the claddagh comes with this piece.

Dimensions: 1" in length,     1" in width

This piece comes with a 18" sterling silver chain.  

The claddagh is a unique irish symbol of love! The hands of friendship, crown loyalty and the heart symboling love. The tradition dates back to the 16th century when a native of galway city, Richard Joyce was captured by Algerian Corsairs on his way to the West Indies, when he eventually returned he settled in the small village of claddagh just outside the city of Galway where he crafted the first Claddagh ring. As the years went have passed, the powerful sentiment that the Claddagh evokes of love and friendship endures.
