Clark Yard Lift Model Y40 Pneumatic Tire 4000 lb Hi-Lo forklift  10' lift.  4 cylinder Gasoline engine.  I purchased this lift 3 years ago to occasionally unload trucks at my home shop.  It has worked great for this purpose.  This machine starts right up, runs, drives and lifts,  however, it could use some attention.  The previous owner installed a small 2 gallon gas tank to run the unit because I was told the fuel tank was rusty.  I left this the way he had it.  The brakes, horn, ampmeter, seat belt, lift and tilt function as normal.  There is no side shift on this unit.  Tires are weather checked but hold air just fine, seat is torn.  I recently installed new plugs and new battery.  Clutch is OK and works just fine for light use, however I believe that it is worn.  This machine sits outside, therfore has some water in the hydraulic oil (foam)  I do not know what year this Forklift is.  1970s maybe??  I looked for a long time for an inexpensive air-tire machine to do occasional lifting before I found this one.  They are hard to find!!!  I just no longer need it.  This would make a perfect Hi-Lo for someone who needs an occasional forklift to operate on gravel or non hard-surface.
