Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary in Gainesville, Florida offers a permanent, safe haven for monkeys who have been abused, confiscated by authorities, retired from research, or who are ex-pets. At this time, Jungle Friends is home to over 100 monkeys and we have an ever-growing waiting list. Primates constitute perhaps the largest population of non-native animals in the US. Because primates are wild, exotic animals, we cannot adopt them out or release them to the wild. We provide lifetime care.
