Up for auction is,
this Neat 1930’s Silver plated Continental Colonial
Trumpet
Serial # 123xx4 (1937) Full engraving that
reaches up the bell to the third piston area.
These trumpets were built by Conn. Continental was made by Conn and follows
the Pan American serial numbers. They were a private label and were
intermediate - pro level horns of the day.

Condition overall 8.8 out of 10
Sterling Silver plate over Brass. Silver plate is 9.5 out of 10, Gold wash
inner bell.
Piston & compression condition is 7.5 out of 10 (minimum to moderate use)
Springs, cork & felt condition 7.5 out of 10
1 slight dent on Bell tube by Piston. No other dents or dings! There is no
other damage present on the horn.
All slides move freely, Bottom sprung pistons in reasonable condition.
No re-soldered parts, Trumpet has original? case, (Fair, solid, all latches
work + key for lock (works)) & comes with the original silver plate
mouthpiece (good)
All in all, a superb Conn built Continental Colonial, classic style
trumpet in great condition & ready to play!
