This bag is an original Chanel bag. 

This type of purse was conceived on February 2, 1955, actually called the "2.55" bag.  It was quietly worn by fans of Chanel clothes.  In the logo obsessed '80's Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel quilted bag flooded the market .  This bag is a piece of Chanel history and if you are a true fan then your collection is not complete without an origional.  This bag is still soft and luxurious, and is in very good condition.

The rich camel  is a versatile classic color. 

 

This bag can be used as a day clutch, an evening clutch, a travel bag for accessories, or a cosmetic bag.

It can be measured at    7" height

There is a number inside the pocket that reads; 167250

It is stamped Chanel and stamped "Made in Italy". The CC's are silver tone.
