On May 6, 1966, Bud Gardner started building his brand of  beautiful surfboards, on May 6, 2008  Bud Gardner started his 43rd year of building his brand of beautiful surfboards and in all that time, he has shaped and colored each and every one of them.  In 2007 Bud Gardner was honored by being nominated for induction into the East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame in the Pioneer Surfboard Builders Division for 2008.
