This is a GREAT VINTAGE early to mid 80s black taffeta formal/cocktail/prom/party dress by Mayvens of California. It is a size 9/10. This is the quintessential 80s occasion dress!  The dress has the classic poofed sleeves. The bodice is made of taffeta with a lace overlay. Also on the bodice is a front panel of velvet with a glittery design. The dress has a full skirt made of black taffeta. The dress has a V-neck. The dress is fastened with a zipper on the back of the dress as well as a taffeta bow that is tied. Our formal dresses were given to us, so we are listing them as pre-owned dress, but it is in excellent condition. It may need to be dry-cleaned, or pressed due to wrinkles during shipping. The velvet of the dress is made of 65% acetate and 35% nylon. The taffeta and lace of the dress is 100% polyester. Washable. NO DRYCLEAN. Get this great dress for a fraction of the price.
