I understand that many women do not like to throw away old makeup but I have to tell you some very important information. Unless you store you makeup in the refrigerator you should only keep opened items for 3 to 6 months maximum, in the refrigerator a year maximum on anything including face lotions. If you have not yet opened them they have a shelf life of about a year. The reason is bacteria and what happens to the chemicals over time. Since this stuff is put on the skin it is absorbed through the skin and can make you ill I just thought you would like to know.
