Early 20th century miniature metal frame, with cloisonne decorations. Art deco in period and design, this frame was meant for travel. Standing only about 1 1/2 inches tall and about 1 inch wide, it was perfect for tucking into a pocket or purse and for standing up at bedside in your hotel or military quarters. Stands up by means of a metal extension leg in the back. This particular frame tells a personal story of the long-lost former owner. It contains 6 little photos. The first, of a handsome man dressed appropriately for a gentleman of the 1930s or 1940s, As always, terms are "As is, Where is." Again, view all photos, read the entire description and terms, and ask all questions before bidding. We do not take returns. Remember, these are vintage and antique items, and are old. Old things show signs of age, which most collectors and dealers view as beautiful, as "patina," and as signs of authenticity. If you are looking for something that looks "new," you may want to forego antiques and vintage items, and focus your bids on brand new reproduction pieces sold elsewhere. But if you want the sense of history antiques and vintage collectibles carry with them, you are in the right place. We have many new, antique and vintage items listed just now. If you buy a widget that ships for $10, and win five book auctions where each book ships for $1, and if they all fit in the same box, I will charge you $10 shipping for the widget, $1 for shipping the first two books, and $.25 for shipping each of the remaining three books, for a total of $11.75 shipping charges.
