This movie has been considered iconic for many good reasons. For starters, there is the fashion. Then, there are the characters, some of them who undergo character development (i.e. Cher). Also, the casting choices are top-notch, especially in regards to Cher and her besties. Plus, this was directed by the director of Fast Times At Ridgemont High. As for the tape itself, it was as very good as described. Pretty classic overall.

This movie is a classic. It's one of those movies that you can watch over and over again and it doesn't get old. If you're a fan of Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, or Fast Times at Ridgemont High, then I'd recommend this movie to you. A great movie to watch with all your girl friends!
This was a really cute movie that didn't require alot of intense concentration. I sometimes just like to veg out and this is one of those movies that you'll really enjoying doing that with. Thumbs up for this movie because unlike some of the teenage movies, this one is clean & decent and I wouldn't have a problem letting my nieces watch it.
